Nonverbal communication components

Many people heard about nonverbal communication but a few people really know what it is. Nonverbal communication is the not speaking form of communication that includes gestures, mimicry, poses, visual contact, the tone of the voice, touches that transmit emotional and textual information.
Usually nonverbal components are divided into two groups the first one of which is the primary nonverbal systems that include system of gestures that differs from the sign language and mimicry, and the second one is secondary nonverbal systems such as dot-and-dash, music, programming languages.
Nonverbal components never use words and make the important part of communication. Sometimes it is possible to say much more with the help of these ways than with the help of words. According to investigations of scientists 58% of all information is transmitted with the help of nonverbal ways of communication. In other words the most important thing is not what is said but how it is said.
It also plays an important role in the process of emotions changing as with people as with animals including the situation when the person communicates with his/her pet. Investigations show that in the process of communication 60-95% of information is transmitted with the help of nonverbal system.
This nonverbal system is made of tone, timbre, speed, intonation and other characteristics of the speech. Your look, your clothes, your pose, the expression of your face, your gestures, your smile and its absence, etc. are the nonverbal signs.
